The two miner cats " Knifte" and "Stulle" were designed by me, as an Essen-based designer and true "child of the Ruhr area", as part of my designer label ole & fine exclusively for the two daily newspapers WAZ / NRZ .
"Knifte" - the black cat with a preference for thick-cut, buttery Kniften, perhaps refined with a pinch of salt - presents himself with a typical blue-striped miner's shirt, decorated with two buttons. His name says it all and reflects his love of hearty food.
Tomcat "Knifte" is not only a charming sweet tooth, but also a real buddy and Ruhri, a homage to his homeland, the Ruhr area, which is reflected in his typical look.
"Stulle" - the gray cat, named after her love of lavishly buttered, sometimes sugary-sweet sandwiches - wears a classic blue-striped miner's shirt, complemented by a typical duster that she has tied casually around her neck. Her name says it all and reflects her sugary-sweet nature.
Cat "Stulle" is not only a charming sweet tooth, but also a real buddy and Ruhri, a homage to her home, the Ruhr area, which is reflected in her typical look.
Tomcat "Knifte" and cat "Stulle" are more than just cuddly toys. They provide comfort, decorate every room and make a very special gift. Perfect as a Christmas or birthday present. These lovingly hand-made cats will surely be loved and cherished.
